When a busy retail store like Ross calls, you move fast. A clogged toilet, a backed-up sink, and a leaking p-trap all at once - that's not just an inconvenience. That's a health issue, a code issue, and a customer experience issue rolled into one.
Here's what we were working with: a toilet that was completely backed up and heavily fouled, a sink drain that had stopped flowing, and a p-trap underneath that was leaking. Three separate problems. We handled all three in the same visit.
For the toilet, we used a heavy-duty toilet auger to break through the clog and get it draining again. For the sink, we ran a drain snake directly through the drain opening to clear the line. The p-trap situation required us to fully disassemble the drain assembly under the sink - you can see the old components laid out on the floor - and replace it with new parts to stop the leak for good.
The thing about commercial plumbing is that it takes more abuse than residential. High-traffic restrooms and bathrooms see constant use, and when something goes wrong, it needs to be fixed right - not just temporarily patched. We made sure everything was functioning properly before we left, from the toilet flushing clean and clear to the sink draining freely with no leaks under the cabinet.
Whether it's a single clogged drain or multiple plumbing issues hitting at once, we're set up to handle it. That's what we do for businesses across New Jersey every day.
